Callans no longer sell second hand clothes, but weekly auctions of general household furnishings selling 400-500 lots every Thursday at 22 Smith Street, Ayr, plus a number of special, quality, period items at their antique sales throughout the year. Thomas R Callan also continue to operate a thriving removals service, operating four removal teams with a fleet of purpose built Mercedes Benz removal vans. Each team undertake full or part load removals and deliveries throughout the UK.
Working with our auctioneering services, the removal teams possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in packing valuables and handling pianos, antiques and fine art.
The acquisition of a new 12,000 sq ft storage centre now provides customers with the latest in storage facilities. With monitored Security and 24 hour thermostat controlled warm air heating, the facilities are perfect for storing single items or the complete contents of a full house.
Being an independent family business, core staff have remained loyal in the firm, with many employees exceeding 30 years service.
